Everyone wants great skin that glows. The most important skin beauty tip is watching what you put inside your body. A healthy well-rounded diet of healthy fats, protein, whole grains and lots of fruits and veggies is essential. It’s also important to get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water. I suggest carrying a water bottle to work or when you’re out of the house to make sure you stay hydrated.
DIY Honey Glow Face Mask
I love making this mask before a date or an event to make sure I look great, or anytime my skin is looking dull. The great thing about this recipe is you probably already have most of the ingredients in your kitchen, and it’s so healthy you can eat it! I was in a wedding this past weekend so I had minimal sleep and indulged in food and in spirits so it’s a perfect time to make this mask.
Coffee grounds- Brew a cup of Joe then use the coffee grinds for the mask. Coffee is rich in antioxidants works as an exfoliate and wakes up your face.
Honey- is an anti bacterial and anti-inflammatory. It’s also a humectant and traps in moisture.
Unrefined organic Coconut oil- Adds moisture to your skin
Mix together coffee grinds, honey and coconut oil then apply to face massage it into your face in circular motions then let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Today I’m using honey straight from the mother land that my grandma gave me , but I usually just use whatever I can get my paws on at the grocery store. Happy glowing!
