I like most people love to snack. Nothing beats sitting down to your favorite show and munching on a savory snack after a long day. As comforting as snacking can be, calories can really sneak up on you with popular snacks such as potato chips and butter popcorn. Being a sucker for a chip one of my favorite guilt- free snacks is my Spicy Kale Chips.
Ingredients for Spicy Kale Chips
1 head of Kale washed and dried ( I used half for this recipe)
1-2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1)Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2)Tear kale off stems into small pieces.
3) Sprinkle olive oil on kale and toss around. There should be oil on every piece but don’t drench the kale in oil or your chips will be soggy.
4)Spread the kale somewhat evenly in the baking pan.
5) Sprinkle with salt, cayenne pepper, paprika, chili powder, and garlic powder.
5) Bake for 20 minutes total. After 8 or 10 minutes use a wooden spoon or spatula to move the chips around then continue baking until the edges of the chips turn brown.
Now get ready to Netflix and kale chips!
